In this month’s architecture and design video round-up (above), Zaha Hadid Architects has joined a cast of collaborators to create the Striatus footbridge in Venice – a “first of its kind” concrete structure that harnesses the power of 3D printing. In Berlin, Puntofilipino design office has created a bunker-like boutique for honey and skincare retailer Honeyz.

The Goodman property group enlisted the architectural prowess of Woods Bagot to create a new-age workplace in Sydney, guided by the building’s industrial roots. In China, Neri&Hu created the impressive Aranya Art centre inside a seaside resort community; the building borrows its inspiration from the nearby seasonal oceans.

Famed American designer Kelly Wearstler transformed a mid-century Malibu surf shack into the ultimate retreat for the summer. And, finally this episode, Swedish architects Bornstein Lyckefors are showcasing a proposal for the Brunnsparken public space as part of Gothenburg’s 400th anniversary. Take a look.

Brunnsparken in Gothenburg, Sweden by Bornstein Lyckefors architects
Bornstein Lyckefors proposed a ‘party memorial’ for the Brunnsparken public space in Sweden.
  • Party house: Comprising event halls, secret rooms and an archive of party ephemera, the “party memorial” proposal by Swedish architecture firm Bornstein Lyckefors stems from an experiment in which a cast was taken of tent structures. Read more.
