In this week’s architecture and design video round-up (above), venture into artist Luo Xu’s colossal 50% Cloud building and discover the intimate bar and restaurant by Hong Kong-based studio Cheng Cheng Design.

Walk the halls, study spaces and relaxation zones at the Resa San Mamés student accommodation project by colour aficionados Masquespacio.

Studio Kitchen is the third instalment in a collaboration between Australian architects Kennedy Nolan and Laminex. This time around, the designers have put Laminex’s matt-finish products to the test.

And finally this week, planning documents submitted to City of Sydney council illustrate the Pencil Tower Hotel by Durbach Block Jaggers at only six metres wide and 110 metres, making it the tallest and thinnest building in Australia should it be greenlighted by the City.
