Ranging from one- to four-bedroom retreats, the accommodation quarters are among the largest and most luxurious over-water villas in the world. Each features vast indoor and outdoor living spaces and sweeping terraces, plus a private pool. Selected villas turn up the fun factor with waterslides that deliver guests straight into the private lagoon, and outdoor bathrooms for private bathing under the sun and stars. Then there’s the retractable roof systems over master bedrooms in the one- and two-bedroom villas – an ideal novelty for keen stargazers.
As is the case with all of Soneva’s villas, the new development promises to follow the highest environmental standards and employ sustainable materials and practices, such as Forest Stewardship Council-certified woods and state-of-the-art technology designed to reduce the resort’s toll on the planet.
