In this week’s architecture and design video round-up (above), tour the Ngói Space building in Vietnam where a “curtain” of discarded roof tiles shield the interiors from the sun. In Bali, stroll the grounds of the Green School and its latest addition – The Arc building by IBUKU.

H&P Architects in Vietnam, reclaimed roof tiles as facade
Designed by H&P Architects, the Ngói Space building in Vietnam features a tiled “curtain” facade.

Axel Arigato’s flagship store in Paris, designed by Scandinavian studio Halleroed.

Murano glass on show in Italy
Titled ‘Glass to Glass’, an exhibition of spectacular Murano glass art and design is on show now.
  • Glass act: Italy’s Berengo Studio and WonderGlass have united during the Venice Biennale to celebrate the vibrant community of artists and designers working with Murano glass today. Read more.
The Arc at Green School in Bali, designed by IBUKU.
  • Bali high: Fuelled by the belief that “bamboo can change the way we build”, Bali-based design practice IBUKU has created The Arc at Green School – an open-air structure built from a series of sweeping bamboo arches. Read more.
