Now in its 35th year, the Dulux Colour Awards are a magnet for some of the most illuminating and boundary-pushing projects in residential and commercial design. The program rewards architects, designers and students in Australia and New Zealand with cash prizes for work that continues to celebrate the sophisticated and masterful use of colour.

Architect Camilla Block of Durbach Block Jaggers to join inDETAIL speaker series
For the fourth instalment of the all-new architect speaker series inDETAIL by Brickworks, hosts Brett Ward and Stephen Varady will be joined by architect Camilla Block, one of the directors behind Australian architecture practice Durbach Block Jaggers. The episode will be broadcast live from the Brickworks Sydney studio on February 25 from 6.30pm (AEDT).
Camilla’s discussion with Brett and Stephen will join the first three episodes of inDETAIL featuring architects Alec Tzannes, Fabrizio Barozzi and Jayson Blight.

Open for business: Shigeru Ban’s transparent toilet blocks in Tokyo
We’ve all been there. Miles from home – or just far enough – and the urge to, ahem, ‘go’ strikes. But there are two factors that prevent most people from willingly seeking out the nearest public restroom. "The first is cleanliness," explains Shigeru Ban, one of the ‘creators’ invited by The Nippon Foundation to participate in The Tokyo Toilet project. "The second is whether anyone is inside".
